Mernaya Tradition is a classic Ukrainian vodka with an alcohol content of 40%. The drink is based on grain spirit and prepared water, while multi-stage purification is an important part of the production process. After traditional charcoal filtration, the vodka undergoes additional purification using silver.

Mernaya has a clean and fairly smooth taste with light grain notes and a touch of sweetness. The aroma is restrained and classic, without pronounced off-notes, allowing the drink to retain the familiar profile of traditional vodka.

Mernaya Tradition is well suited to being served chilled and can also be used as a base for various cocktails. Its neutral character allows it to be mixed with juices, tonic, and carbonated drinks without overpowering the other ingredients.

One of the distinctive features of Mernaya Tradition is the combination of several purification stages. First, the drink is filtered through charcoal columns, after which additional silver filtration is applied. This approach helps create a cleaner, more balanced taste.

The recipe uses “Lux” class grain spirit, softened water, as well as a small amount of glucose and citric acid. The glucose makes the flavor slightly rounder and smoother without changing the drink’s classic character.

As a result, Mernaya Tradition remains a straightforward classic vodka with a clean taste, moderate smoothness, a light grain note, and barely noticeable sweetness.
