Jägermeister 1 L

Jägermeister is a German herbal liqueur with an alcohol content of 35%, produced in the town of Wolfenbüttel. Its recipe was created in 1934 and remains a closely guarded secret to this day.

The drink is based on 56 different ingredients: herbs, roots, flowers, spices, and fruits from around the world. The exact combination is not disclosed, but it is precisely this blend that creates the rich, distinctive flavor that makes Jägermeister difficult to confuse with any other liqueur.

The taste combines herbal bitterness, spices, and a touch of sweetness. At first, it feels rich and spicy, then softer, sweeter notes become more noticeable, while the characteristic bitterness returns in the finish.

The aroma is equally expressive: plenty of herbs and spices, with subtle citrus and sweet notes. It is rich and instantly recognizable from the first few seconds.
Before becoming finished Jägermeister, the herbal base matures in oak barrels for around a year. Water, alcohol, sugar, and caramel are then added, after which the drink undergoes final filtration and is bottled in its famous green bottles.

Jägermeister can be enjoyed neat or used in cocktails. Thanks to its bold herbal flavor, it retains its character well even when mixed with other ingredients and does not get lost among sweet or carbonated drinks.

At the same time, Jägermeister has long become something more than just a herbal liqueur. It is just as easy to find at a house party as it is in a bar or around a large table with friends — the drink has long developed its own distinctive character and atmosphere.
